The Harrier GL is an elegant longbow with its longbow locator grip as standard and traditional feel and looks. While it has more deflex and reflex than the Griffon GL it still falls easily into the mild deflex/reflex design. Available in bow lengths of 70", 68" 66" and 64" it caters for draw lengths up to 28" on the shorter length through to 32" maximum on the 70" model. It offers high levels of stored energy that the Griffon GL design and consequently gives a smooth draw.

The full carbon GL technology limbs unlike double carbon that also contains glass fiber. GL technology has no glass fibre in the limbs and the resulting low-mass limbs produce recurve like speed and very low hand shock! The Harrier GL is Fast smooth and forgiving to shoot.

The Harrier GL design has taken many National medals along its short history and designed to be an all out competition bow built to comply with all longbow rules currently in operation.

A true longbow with speed to match. Designed to be shot in longer bow lengths for a smooth and forgiving performance. All GL bows employ the GL limb technology, hand shock is negligible from the extremely low mass limbs and arrow speeds higher than levels found on many recurves.

Heavy limb (glass constructed) or moderate mass limbs (carbon glass construction) negatively absorbs energy and arrow speed, but delivers it back in the form of hand shock.

The Harrier Gl has a natural light weight feel in the hand due to the overall low mass construction resulting from the extensive use of carbon fibre. However the physical weight of the bow can be tailored to meet the individuals taste.

The absence of hand-shock on all Border longbows and especially the GL series means that the overall mass of the bow can be low giving the bow that overall bow handling comfort. The mild deflex/reflex also means that the bow is extremely accommodating and tactile facilitating the stringing and general handling of the bow unlike the more highly deflexed and very reflexed hybrid designs that can be devils to string and unstring and have suspect vertical stability a feature often found of this design style in their race for speed.

The Harrier GL fulfills all that is a longbow fast, stable and easy to use, elegant and yet with traditional proportions. Its prime design goals are in the arena of field and 3D tournaments.
